Creating a website prototype using Adobe XD

The Online Production unit assessment is to create a working prototype in Adobe XD of our professional website which we will turn into a working website in the second year.

My website was designed in Adobe Photoshop. The design, font and colour scheme was copied from my creative business card and CV which we made at the start of the unit as I wanted this to become like a brand to my media work and link them all together. I included 7 pages including a home page, about me, contact, blog, work, gallery and CV. When the website is live, I hope to link my gallery to my Flickr account when clicked and my work to downloadable PDFs, videos and audio files which work, as well as this, my blog page to this WordPress blog.

The top home page bar on every page link to one another when clicked (below).

This is my mobile version of my website. The design from the original website has been compressed and rearranged to fit a typical iPhone sized screen. Instead of the pages listed at the top, I created a drop down menu on each page in the top right corner to access other pages. As well as this, pages with more information such as gallery and about me have been extended to create scrolling pages. I have also used different images for the gallery for variety, however when the website is live and it links to my Flickr, the other images will be accessible.

The drop down menu on every page links to all the different pages (below).

The top right menu icon drops down the main menu on every page (below).
